A Chuck show is life-affirming! Can't wait to see him later this month. His wife Stephanie Finch is a huge talent too, they are lovely people. It was great to read about your discovery of this treasure, Eline.

I had discovered him some 20 years ago but wanted to send out props for the new album after his scare. He’s a favorite of mine.

I’ve been a fan of Chuck’s for many years. Great music, great songs. His shows are some of the best I’ve been to. He’s a lovely guy, too.

NOTE TO READERS: I mistakenly called Chuck's backing band for this tour "Quiensave." In fact, the band is named "Cumbia Shoes" and it includes two members (brothers) from Salinas-based Quiensave. The musicians are:Joaquin Zamudio Garcia, James DePrato, Vicente Rodriguez, Chuck Prophet, Mario Cortez, Alejandro Gomez.
